First Little Blogspot

So I'm giving this a try. It feels good to put "it" out there, which of course is probably 100% typical for any new blogger. Is this an unfortunate acceptance and enactment of my vanity? I hope not. Certainly YOU should not decide. I am a published author now! No, thank you, thank you, that's enough, stop it, you're too kind. If I could flush out every trace of cliched humanity in my system I'd be a'ight with that. This is NOT starting out on a good note, and yet I am hopeful that this post is also NOT a harbinger of posts to come: that is, I intend to talk of many other things than myself.
